Hey Lauren, Where Have You Been?

by | Nov 8, 2020 | Latest News | 0 comments

As of lately, I’ve been a bit silent on my blog. But when Lauren goes quiet, it means something is brewing.

What’s been going on?

  • The Election (Give it up for having a biracial woman in the White House!)

  • Coronavirus (Ya, that didn’t just go away)

  • Battling Depression (Again, never goes away)

  • Celebrating 7 Months Behavior Free (Take that eating disorder!)

  • Working on My First Novel (2021 Bay-bayyyy)

  • Continuing to Promote “Your Wild Journal” (Click Here to Order Your Copy!)

  • Launching “Your Wild Photoshoot” (Click Here to Learn More!)

  • Trying to Have a Life (Because I’ve been a hermit way before COVID ever started)

Well, well, well. If someone hasn’t been a busy bee. But seriously, it’s OVERWHELMING, but in the best way possible. That’s why I’ve taken some time to focus on my self care. Another thing which causes me to go radio silent for a bit.

But have no fear, I am back to share words you will hopefully read.

Which brings me to my next point…

I am constantly getting messages from people telling me how much they love reading my blog and how they wish I would post more…. Say what??

I genuinely had no idea the amount of people who are actually reading my blog. I only ever looked at likes and comments. If there weren’t a lot, I assumed no one was reading. But on the contrary. So many of you have supported me from behind the screen in ways I didn’t know until recently. And for that I want to say thank you.

My promise moving forward is that I will be more diligent with my posts, and continue sharing on topics of mental health and self-love. Because that my dears, is where I thrive. That is where I know the work needs to continuously be done for me, so if I can help someone along my journey, I am down. So unbelievably down.

And my final point…

Give yourself some love today. A lot has happened, and a lot is going to continue happening. But as we progress in this world, don’t forget to take some time to remember the hard work you’ve done. The trying times you’ve gone through and how you’ve managed to come this far.

Today is a new and beautiful day, go embrace your Sunday.
